We were founded during the COVID-19 pandemic because we know that grassroots social purpose organizations have been under resourced in their tech needs. The reality is that most of the technical tools a modern non-profit or charity needs are deeply discounted and even free in many cases. What you have is not a technological deficit but a skills and knowledge gap.
The other issue we see a lot in the purpose driven sector is an ability to effectively communicate with technical specialists, whether that be a managed service provider or consultant. We get it… technology is getting more and more complex all the time and how could any small team keep up? It’s especially frustrating when you aren’t getting good value from your specialists that you likely pay a lot of money for.
There’s good news – we’re here to help! Greg, our founder started his professional career leading a multimillion dollar financial and operational system implementation with over 600 users (members of 2 unions). First and foremost, Greg viewed his role as a translator between the technical experts and the end users. You may have Google Translate doing amazing things between languages, but we’re pretty sure it can’t yet translate between your contracted programmer that is an expert in JavaScript and your social worker that is an expert in child services.
